New Sweden Honorary Consul for Wales
A new Honorary Consul represents Sweden in Wales. Elisabeth Roth, a Swedish national, succeeds Colin Jenkins who retired this summer.
Elisabeth Roth was born and grew up in rural Sweden, graduating in politics and economics in 1972 after which she moved to the United Kingdom.

Colin Jenkins receives Swedish honour
After many years serving as Sweden’s Honorary Consul for Wales, Colin Jenkins has retired from this post after beeing honoured by the King of Sweden, and created a Knight (1st Class) of the Royal Swedish Order of the Polar Star; one of Sweden’s highest decorations, for his work here in Wales.
