The first Consular Association Executive Committee Meeting of 2012 took place place at the offices of the European Commission on Wednesday 18th January 2012 at 4.30pm pror to members of the Consular Association attending the reception given by the Commission to celebrate the Denmark’s 2012 EU presidency

Consular Association in Wales Reception 2011
The President and members of the Consular Association in Wales held their reception for invited guests on Thursday 24 November 2011 from 6.30pm – 8.30pm at the Committee Rooms, Glamorgan Building, King Edward VII Avenue, Cardiff. The venue was kindly sponsored by the Vice Chancellor of Cardiff University.

We are pleased to report that our colleague, Colin Jenkins, the recently retired Honorary Consul for Sweden in Wales, has been honoured by the King of Sweden, and created a Knight (1st Class) of the Royal Swedish Order of the Polar Star; one of Sweden’s highest decorations, for his work here in Wales.
